Descriptive card

The Koran. 215 fols of thin paper, 15 lines to the page. The script is a splendid naskh with gold margins. The first three folios are fully illuminated in gold, blue and various colours. The binding is Turkish, flapped black leather with sunk ornaments. Copyist: Yaḥyā al-Ṣūfī.
